Kyle Melling is an associate attorney at Lowe Eklund Wakefield Co., LPA, where he focuses his practice on personal injury, civil rights, wrongful death and products liability.
Kyle began his law career with a civil rights defense firm where he defended both public and private entities in civil rights, tort and labor and employment matters. Kyle’s extensive experience on the defense side provides him a unique perspective allowing him to understand and anticipate defenses and conceivable strategies that may be employed by opposing counsel. This experience from the other side of the table allows Kyle to represent plaintiffs more effectively and obtain the best possible outcome for his clients.
Kyle obtained in Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Miami University in Ohio and attended law school at the Cleveland-Marshall College of law. While in law school, Kyle was a member of the moot court team, and was the President of the Student Bar Association.
Kyle was recognized as a 2018 Rising Star by Super Lawyers as a Top Rated Civil Rights Attorney in Cleveland, Ohio. He was admitted to practice law in Ohio in 2013 and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Kyle also serves as the President of the Rainbow Babies and Children’s Foundation Associate Board.
